Karl Rove, top Bush adviser, and Harriet Miers, a former White House counsel to George W. Bush, will testify under oath to a House of Representatives panel according to a recent New York Times article. The hearing will be in response to the firing of eight U.S. attorneys during Bush’s first second term. The firings came with little attention in 2006. As a part of President Obama’s transparency act, his administration is pressured to inquire on a lot of fishy business behind the closed doors of the Bush administration. Appointed by Bush, former Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez headlined major news sources in 2005 for his resignation for perjury charges. Fred Fielding, another top Bush adviser, had told Karl Rove to keep his mouth shut to Congress. The lies and cover up are unfolding very neatly so far during Obama’s first 100 days in office. It seems as if the public quickly caught the irony of King Liar Rove testifying under oath as the comments section will show. It would feel repetious to attempt to outdo any of these Roving comments. Okay, ha ha, that’s my joke for this post.
